MacOS emulator for Windows?

Post by Dalton »

I have several Mac-formatted disks and a Windows box. I would like to read the Mac-formatted disks on the Windows box. Any emulators or utilities out there I can use to make it work?

Serious answers only. Silliness will be ruthlessly oppressed!

Try HFV Explorer. Mac emulators require that you have a ROM image to boostrap the OS. I might have one laying around here somewhere...

I think I still have one laying around that *doesn't* require a ROM. I'll look through my backups later on tonight.

I used to use Basilisk II with virtual Mac partitions, but I'm not sure how it would go reading real Mac drives.

It might be able to mount Mac disks and then you could transfer the data since Basilisk II can see your Windows drives.
