Say ... has anyone tried the Red Orcestra mod for UT 2K4 yet? It's good in multiplayer online, but very hard to master. I'm really shit at it.

This is the WW2 eastern front TC, for anybody who is confused.

I have both volumes and the maps are all great. Some are kinda weird-looking though. :P

I'm not a RO fan, actually; I'm an INFer from way back, and RO is trying to reinvent the wheel with their stamina/irons/military style stuff. Its frustrating on their forums having to keep saying 'no, thats been worked out for years'. Right now its an uncomfortable mix of standard shooter (think CS) with unfinished realism bits here and there (like irons etc). INF is still more fun, and it's UT :)

WW2 shooters are a dime a dozen, "realistic" shooters being more so. It's boring as hell by now. I loaded up an RO map, forget the name, but it was dull, poorly designed, and all around horrible. Soon after I uninstalled the mod.

Well, I've never had a WW2 mod or a 'realistic' one, so for me it's a new experience and much fun.
