I just reformated and have XP reinstalled. I got the first service pack installed, but when I try to do the other updates it downloads, the installation bar finishes, but it never actualy updates and just sits there.
Anyone know of this?

Yes. And if it does take longer than that(to install not download) then there is probably something wrong that will require some head scratching.

Well I left it running last night and both progress meters are full yet it has yet to say its completed and if I click on the X it will cancel the whole process.

Kinda hard when I am updatint everything. I guess as trouble shooting I will now update one at a time to find the one that won't work.

You have to download the SP1 update separate from the others...assuming you didn't know that.

Well it seems that "Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB824105)" is the problem file.
