Watching this, I'm not discouraged, obviously we see the best bits - I did wonder whether they might have oversimplified it and remove any hard tactical stuff from it in watching this. I was pleased to see them using the Black and White 3d camera system, I wasnt too impressed with seeing Sauron enlist the Balrog, although I'm sure that's a matter of interpreting the text - big hero groups like the Army of the Dead and the Balrog seem to be one hit wonders - we see the army of the dead obliterating an ork horde and then vanishing as their oath is fulfilled - graphics are very pretty, I'd hate to think whether its going to run on my laptop, I'm pretty sure it wont... :(

It's a big honking file by the way, although it ran quickly on my uni connection. Fingers crossed, eh?

I love how they set up unit reactions. I agree that I'd be scared shitless if I saw a twelve foot troll with a tree-club approaching me.

So they summoned a Balrog? I'm not the biggest Tolkien freak, but I'm going to say that wouldn't be possible. Hell, even if Sauron was around and had the ring it wouldn't do him much good, he was more of a shapeshifter than a summoner.

I also dislike how they show MT so destroyed. The whole city was built by the Numenorians, they built STRONG stuff. The city gate, the "weak point", took a massive battering ram and the corrupted numenorian king to fall; I doubt MT would have taken serious structural damage from that assault.

Okay, I'm done ranting about lore for now.
