The advent of wireless in the household (giving my brother and dad access to a connection that used to be just mine) and my love for bittorrent means that from now until the end of the month, I've had my connection "shaped" down to 64kbps. *mutters*

Doesn't wireless have its own connection? I didn't know it tapped into extant connections... and how is this different from roaming wireless?

It's not (directly) the fault of the wireless. He's talking about having hit the 10GB cap Telstra puts on the "unlimited download" broadband plan, and getting cut from 256k to 64k.
To be honest....I'm surprised he lasted this long before hitting the cap, especially if he's using BitTorrent.
