Is there any way to extract audio from Quicktime movies without causing skips like how it's doing for mines? (have been trying to do it with Adobe Premiere)

Why not use Quicktime Pro?
As a test, I decided to extract the audio track from Troops. All I had to do was load the movie, and, in the "Edit" pull-down menu, select "Extract Track" (I was then asked what track to extract, which was sound). Sadly, I use a Mac, and I'm not sure if the technique for extracting the sound track is the same in the PC version.

adobe premiere or adobe after effects.
since you´re a 3D guy you´ll need at least one of them sooner or later anyway.
<edit>oops, just saw that you were trying with adobe premiere. weird.</edit>

QTPro will do it, I'm not sure if QT non-pro will let you extract audio.

It is.
EDIT: Quicktime Pro costs $30 though. Although there is a way around that.

Why not just use Volume Control, which is built into Windows itself? Set your recording source to "Wave" (or whatever the equivilent is on your system) and open up your desired recording application. Start recording and then play the movie. Edit accordingly.

That's hardly a given considering that I PMed him with an... alternate way to aquire QT Pro. Anyway, it hardly matters. I was just curious.
