Anybody else going to get this game? I of course will, I like the Madden games, although my copy of Madden 04 kept freezing. This year brings
us a special edition, 15 years anniversary edition. One drawback is
having Ray Lewis on the cover. After last season I thought for sure they
would put Priest Holmes on the cover.

My girlfriend, the football fan of the two of us, has it on pre-order with GameStop.

I do love Madden, and Owner Mode rocks my socks right off. In '04, I managed to turn the Cardinals into a Super Bowl franchise with the revenue I made moving to Los Angeles (complete with a new name and spiffy new uniforms).

Good hearing from you Red, When my Madden 04 was not freezing, it was great, but I had to get used to worrying about the non football stuff. The
change from the 03 version was good. As a rabid Madden fanboy I of
course can't wait for the release!

Madden is the whole reason I got my brother a PS2 when they came out. So I could continue to get his b'day present every year. I have it payed for at the local EB where Tropen works. The Anniversary Edition is supposed to have some past 16bit Madden's. So I'm sure he's gonna get a big surprise when I get it in August. He's going to pick up NCAA 05 tomorrow when it comes out.

I just may get this. I like making my own team up, then having them kick ass. Very satisfying.

It is also cool making your own plays, running them in practice until
you get it right, and it feels great when you use it on the other team and
they are powerless to stop you from scoring a touchdown.
