This game is great, it's like a MMORPG version of Escape Velocity set in 17th-century Caribbean. You can play as England, France, Spain or the Netherlands, and sail on a variety of ships from a frigate to a galleon to a raft (when your ship dies or your crew mutinees). It's more RPG than most games of this type - you have, for instance, to pay attention to your food and rum supply to ensure your crew doesn't get hungry or depressed. Like all sailing captains, you are effectively at the mercy of the wind (although, thankfully, there are no doldrums).

The beta test is currently open to everyone, but the server caps out at 250 people. Pretty nice, and the one MMORPG I'd consider paying for (possibly related to the fact it's the only one I've ever played).

Hehe looks pretty cheesy but its good idea, only if it was up to current quality standards it would rule.

That was cool! I would pay for it too.
