One of my favorite pleasures (aside from others that need not be named) is to search out free and independent game titles to download. I was elated when I found Wikipedia had such a list, I was elated.

Sadly, their freeware list is incomplete, and shareware nonexistant. So I call upon you, brave allies, with your great knowledge of the unknown and esoteric, etc, to complete it in the name of victory! And so on.

Ground Control is available as a free download at fileplanet.com, provided you sign up for a free account there. Waiting times can be a bitch, but the game itself is worth it.

Oh, and make sure shareware is labeled as such. Doing otherwise is one of my pet peeves.
