I tried playing that, but my desktop couldn't handle it. I'll try it on my laptop when it gets fixed.

I've been palying that game for monthes, and I love it: One of the best space-combat sims I've ever played!
Here is the game's official website.

My computer didn't have the graphics card to support I Found Her, nor could it support KotOR (but I bought it anyway - hey, I had a discount coupon, the store was selling it cheaper than usual, so it's no big deal... plus I'm a loyalist when it comes to good games).
When I get it back from the cops, I'm going to add more RAM and a new Graphics card. Then we shall see... what we shall see...

I can't even get past the training level.
I'm in hyperspace (disorienting to sat the least) and I'm supposed to find the Enchanter. Well, I found it, but nothing is happening. It's still drifting and I can't contact it or the instructer. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do there.

Its been out for months.
Temjin: The enchanter is supposed to go boom, then you head back to Sol.Btw, finding it is not required. You can simply fly to Proxima, hang around for a while, then head back when the instructor tells you to. Also, turining on the autopilot in Hyper is the best idea, that way you will never lose the lock. However don't hope to find the Enchanter if you're using it.
Have a very nice day.

Well, I figured out the problem that happened to me the first time I played through it. I went to the prozima beacon in autopilot, and when I got there I did not get the message to turn back. Plus the shp I saw was the Athena or whatever.
So this time, I went the whole way at 1 ks. And I still didn't find it. But my god did that take long. The mission time was at the 45 minute mark by the time I got out of hyper.

You had to go to Proxima? Damn, I spent ages flying around Cooke and then trying to find Sol-Cooke. Argh. In the end, I just skipped the tutorials.

Oh, the game gets much better, I assure you. As far as the tutorial goes, it took me about 5 tries before I finally figured out how to find the Enchanter. Its not hard, once you think about the plot.
I won't give any spoilers, just make sure you have good speakers, because you can easily miss the hint that helps you find the ship.

I DL it, and its great. Except one problem. It's upside down. Once I start the game its upside down. And I'm not sure how to correct this "issue".
Any help?

What's the best way to maneuver? I got to the gunnery range, but I keep overshooting the targets by a mile and I can't get turned in time.

Rotate your monitor.

Try not to go faster than 250 while in combat. Anything higher, and you'll have to spend precious seconds every time you turn going in a direction you don't want to.
Also, use you're slide keys. Always be a moving target.
And finally, learn to use your inertial mode. It can be a great help.

If you have a joystick with a hat switch, use that to slide around. Half the time I'm tri-chording (flying on all three axis) to manuver for the kill. Not the best way, but its alot of fun.
btw, Hemlock there was a thread on this the day it came out.

I tried the hatswitch thing at first, but it has a problem that really annoys me. You press up on the switch, you go up. You press left on the switch, and you go left. If, when in battle, you press upper left..... nothing happens.
Not fun when you have three fighters shooting you all at the same time...

Kicks ass; though I need to configure it for my X45 HOTAS.
Damn, those Raiders are hard to hit. I was kicking their arse; and then I smashed into a rock. Bugger.
