God, I haven't played that game honestly in years. I finished it the right way, but since then I've had the trainer and character editor handy for every play-through.

I'm one of those players who plays it through once, but otherwise can't wait to find the cheat codes so I can march through the unverse as a Living God. No, I don't care about the challenge. I like the sight of my Fallout character tearing apart Enclave bastards with his bare hands and absorbing immense volumes of rocket and laser fire.

It's his character William Munny from Unforgiven, to be exact. The style isn't really evil, per se, more of an asshole who doesn't take shit from nobody.

I haven't been following it EXACTLY, because of the difficulty of doing so
with a weaker character against 1 entire street gang. I'll have to hack
the game one day to start out from Arroyo fully skilled, so I can
just leave a trail of death across the Wastes

Right. By all rights you should start a gunfight with Metzger the moment you meet him, for talking to you disrespectfully, but if you do you'll just end up dead too fast.

I'll post photos of my carnage filled sprees; right now I'm down
to -297 PRESTIGE "Betrayer", because I went to the Ghost Farm

So very true...though reloading that save and trying other inventive ways was fun.

Though too many pansy as I brought in my Bozar and Power Armor....but so fun watching the little people flee...and them...trying to hurt me.

You can get Power Armor and stuff very early in the game, by making a trip to San Francisco, getting the quest for the Vertibird plans, then going to Navarro and posing as a new recruit. However it's a very difficult journey and you'll be reloading a lot. And all these without cheating (just exploiting the game).

I also had a save cheat, that you can use once you get to Klamath. After you enter Traper town and save, you replace the file corespoding to this city with the one from the cheat. Then reload and go to the gun store in the rat infested area and be surprised

-- 2 pieces of each armor, each weapon in the game, plus lots of drugs and stimpacks and tons of ammo.

And the cherry on the cake is the Fallout 2 manual, that gives you ~20K XP each time you read it. A sure way to get to 999 HP and all skils to 300%.

EDIT: if anyone wants that save, I'll search it and put it online.

No, you won't. All you gotta do is kill Flick for his guns, and then steal a dose of Psycho from one of Metzger's goons. And then it's just trigger time

I love to laugh maniacally while my character slaughters the entire guild while fucked up on serious combat drugs...

My fauvorite way to do it is to simply walk in through the front gate (after finishing the game, that is) wearing the bridge keeper's robes and toting a police baton. I then proceed to break legs and arms in close combat (using the Slayer perk, of course).

Nothing is as fun as watching Lynette crawl away with both legs broken, crying for the guards to come rescue her...
