DVD soundtrack question

There are certain movies whose soundtracks are simply not avialable or out of print, yet the DVD for the movie is out. Is there a way to rip the soundtrack music from the DVD on your computer the same way I would rip tracks from a music CD onto an MP3 format? There's some movies out there that I would like to get and the added incentive would be getting music cues that I love in the movie but are no longer available for purchase.

not sure if there is. . . .though chances are you could always find the soundtracks themselves via various p2p clients or bittorrent if you wanted to look for it thataway. unless the tracks happened to be not available on the main soundtrack itself that is.

You can rip the audio from the DVD, but it won't be an isolated music track (unless the DVD comes with one). It will have talking and sound effects and all that.

If the soundtrack CD was ever made, your best bet is Ebay or ZShops.
