UT2004... Not feeling the love

Ok so i got UT2004 the other day and i must say that i am very disappointed with it. It just feels like more of the same. The weapons don't feel as good as 2003. Onslaught is ok, I like the objective and how it works but i am just not feeling it. Anyone else feel the same way or am i crazy. I have been playing it alot to give it a chance. I do like how many character avatars you can pick from though

It doesn't have the quick weapon switch cheese that 2k3 had.

I'd play it more but my computer can't run it that well.

Ya, it's kinda "meh". Earlier, I was at your house and played for a while, trying to get a feel for it but I couldn't really get into it. Lightning gun blows, hate the shield gun, and I miss the pistol.

I played it for a couple days and then got bored. Nothing particularly stands out about it.

Only mode I ever play online is Invasion, which is pretty intense at times. But these days, I play UT2K4 mods as opposed to the actual game. (Red Orchestra, Neotokyo and Alien Swarm if anyone is interested)

I'm still enjoying the single player, building up in difficulty levels.

The return of Assault sealed it for me!
