Oi vey... (Cd-rom drive troubles, ugh)

So, I restart my comp after it froze, and voila, the CD-Rom drive doesnt work.

Device manager isnt even reading it anymore! Is there a logical exlanation, or am I just unlucky? I tried restarting multiple times, checked everything that came to mind, and still nothing.

Er, try looking inside your computer. You might've knocked a cable loose...

I doubt it, since I don't really kick my comp around. Plus, I'd have no idea what anything in there is anyways.

Okay, I took a looksee inside, saw a disconnected wire running to what I presumed to be the CD drive. So I plugged it in, and wa lah!
