Netscape 7.2 out

Post by Darth Wong »

I was under the impression that Netscape development had ceased while Mozilla was marching on, but apparently they're still making new versions of Netscape. Netscape 7.2 just came out, and while this may seem of little importance to those who use Mozilla or FireFox, one should keep in mind that certain websites (particularly E-commerce sites) require that you use Netscape rather than Mozilla.

In any case, I'm not sure which version of Mozilla this current Netscape is based on, but it works fine and runs nicely. I installed it on both Windows and Linux without a hitch just now.
