I've just recived a block of G Mail invites.

If you would like one please PM me with your email addy and a brief statement of why I should give you one. I'm not ego tripping I'm just trying to make sure that those with acctual use for the space get it.

And i know i promised you guys invites too, but i just got some, because G-mail is a total asshat. Do you can also PM me too, do do do..

If G-Mail is being a total asshat (a la AJ), why do we want invites? Just becuase?

My Hotmail account pretty much sucks, so if either of you want to give me an invite, that would be tres fabbo so I could try it out. It's got more storage than Hotmail and I don't have a backup account anymore since my alma mater discovered that I graduated a few years ago (durrrrr) and took away my uni email. I don't need it, but an extra account would be cool.

No, no, Zaiakins, you see, the only problem with G-mail is that it doesn't give you invites for many weeks, and then suddenly, BAM, it gives you 5 or 6.

It used to spread them out evenly over time, but something broke. *shrugs*

How odd. To whom does it send invites anyway? Random people who use lots of net stuff? People who signed up for it?

If you regularly use G-mail, you get an invite for every 4 (I think, its close) e-mails you get.

The gist of it is, people lucky enough to have accounts for "beta testing" are allowed no more than six invites to share to six lucky people. You can only join by invitation, so people sending out invites would allow more people to join and get a gmail account.

Gmail is better? I think the interface is much better than any other webmail service I've tried so far, and there's the space.

I got three to spare as well, PM with name(real name not required, nick or something will do fine really) and e-mail address.

How do I PM something, I'm interested in trying this.

There is a button under my post that says "PM" just click it and it'll send a private message to me.

Um... maybe because the interface is substantially faster, and the mail searching options?

Just spent the last couple of hours changing all the accounts on various websites to my gmail address though- then again I have dialup.

I got 4 invites, after 5 minutes of using Gmail... who wants some.
