AIM troubles happening w/ anybody else here?

OK, I've been experiencing some problems with AIM for awhile... and other people I've talked to on AIM have commented that they're having the same problems.

I'm wondering, is everybody having the problem too? What's happening here is: severe lag, slow loading times, and inability to do some functions such as chatrooms.

Anybody else experiencing all this...? If so, are there any fixes? Or should I just give up AIM and look for a substitute?

I haven't noticed any problems with my AIM connection on Trillian.

Does it say that " Buddy Lists are currently Unavilible"? ive had its ocassionly, but it goes away if you log on again

I get messages saying I'll get no alerts of something. That's only cropped up recently.

Biggest trouble is bad lag... it'll show that someone's typing for forever, and then it'll suddenly show an assload of what they've been typing for the past ten minutes without displaying. I think the same's been happening on my end as well.

I've just had the same message up as Gandalf, MSN also refuses to load.
