geforce fx 5200 problems

Two days ago I received an Apollo GFFX5200 128megs via FedEX from Newegg.com~

No problems getting it in and I installed the latest forceware drivers. However, games which use pixel shaders are giving me problems. A bumpmapping mod for half life, which uses pixel shaders, isn't displaying the bumpmaps.

The FarCry Fort demo is also giving me problems, as you can see here:

All settings in-game are medium

I've tried disabling overclocking on the card and it doesn't make a difference. Nor does the quality setting.

System is~
1 ghz athlon
512 pc100 ram
Win2k SP4
DirectX 9.0b

Oddly, the very first time I played the FC Fort demo it rendered everything correctly; water effects included. I've reinstalled the card multiple times and even tried old 60.72 drivers, which were supposed to fix some problems in the FC retail version.

Oh leave the guy alone. At least it wasn't Doom 3. Now that would be silly ;)

Call of Duty runs perfectly on my 5200, even with the settings cranked up to the max. :)

Magic word... Overclocking, you probebly messed up something that wasn't used untill you ran FC.
