Geta copy of 'Hijack This!' , unzip it to its own folder and run it, then post the log.

Einey might be able to pick it apart, or someone (me?) with a bit of research and tell you what to kill on startup.

Tell your friend to try scanning from safe mode.

If your friend is running XP or ME, tell him/her to delete all system restore points. More than likely, the trojan has done something to them, so restoring to a previous point would be like repairing the trojan (ie: resurrecting it).
