Ok, so I'm typing a part of my essay up. I notice I missed a word later on, I go back to fix it. So I start typing and intsead of inserting a new word where I wanted it, it started deleted letters and replacing what I had already typed with what I was currently typing.

So how the fuck do I change that?

Yes, up in that little 6 key block, between the keypad and your letter keys.

You have Overtype on. Press the Insert key to turn it off. Insert is right above the Delete key.

On a normal keyboard, it's right above the "Delete" key.

You can also use the zero on the numeric keypad if Num Lock is turned off.

Directly under the "Print Screen" key, to the left of "Home" and right above "Delete". If you can't find it, theres something wrong with your eyesight.

That's delete, 0 is insert/overtype.
