Looking for a joystick

Alright, my joystick sucks utter shit and is barely working , and with Pacific Fighters coming out plus some Su-25T and Ka-50 in the future I need a new one. Whats a recomendation for a high quality joystick with perhaps a HOTAS setup.

While many will swear that the Thrustmaster Cougar is the best joystick money can buy, at almost 300 bucks, I'd say it's too much money for a joystick.

Personally, I own the Saitek X45, which runs a mere 70 bucks over at Newegg. It's the best joystick I've ever used.

I know about the glorious HOTAS COUGAR (praise!) I can't find a goddamn site that ships to Canada.

Saitek X45 is what I use. Best. Joystick. Ever. For the Price. And HOTAS.

Thrustmaster HOTAS is supposidly the best out there, but if you're on a budget I'd reccommend the Saitek X45. I've had the all black older version of that stick throttle combo for about 4 years now, and it still works just as well as when I bought it. The programabliity is extensive, and the whole setup just feels right in you hands. I picked up mine for $80 from CompUSA, it's one computer acquisition I will never regret.

Goddamn 10y old and still a kickass joystick.

The old-school Sidewinder 3D joystick was nice but the X45 is better. However, the software for it sucks but some groups have made their own (google to find it)
