would this make the console more agreeable to those of you out there that must have your precious keyboard mouse combo? it should end the arguement about how the controller is so terrible by their standards.

The game still isn't moddable- you can't config the controls in the game itself- you still have to run at 640x480 resolution- I'm sticking with the PC and Mac for FPS. GameCube for non-FPS like Zelda, Mario, (and even Metroid Prime, which admittedly is FPS).

that´s cool. GTA was such a POS on the PSII because of the lack of a mouse and the annoying auto aim function.
the PC version with mouse aim was way better.

Actually, you can. I can use my wireless keyboard and wireless optical mouse on pretty much any surface, including a tv tray on my lap. However, for gaming, I use a Belkin Nostromo anyway. If you are a keyboard-mouse gamer and you don't have one, you don't know what you're missing.

Not really. I'd much rather sit at my desk and use a ketboard and mouse and enjoy all the extra's like high res and customisable keys.

I thought the opposite - the PS2 system guarnteed 75% accuracy regardless of range, orientation, movement etc. On PC you needed skill, not button-mashing-skillz

It'll surely help aiming better, as long as the game itself allows mouse like movement, not those stop-pushing-and-the-screen-returns-to-the-center cameras.

But it probably wont make games any faster ot anything, an Xbox just cant draw enough fps to keep things smooth when doing PC like moves.
