Looking for some programs and stuff

The problem is I don't know their names, what I've been looking for is a program that you can enter longitude and latitude into and have the position appear on a map, something with high-res maps or 3D or whatever would be cool.
Thats also another thing, is there any place where you could find satelite maps of the world, prefferably all of it in high-res.

Hmm...For the second one try terraserver.microsoft.com...though the pics are fairly crappy.

You might be thinking of world wind, a nasa software
you can find it
here. It's a bit big, but it's pretty damn cool

Both could also be found in
Keyhole 2. It has a monthly fee for the service, though.
EDIT: Here's a pic I took in the trial version of Keyhole 2:
It's from Disney/MGM Studios in Orlando. Below the word "Trial" you can see the life-size AT-AT walker model.
Also, I discovered that Keyhole has something the others don't: a Mars satellite terrain database. Kewl.
