Okay, first off yes, I am a cheater. Want to use my handy-dandy Gameshark for the new game, Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. Went to Gameshark.com, but when I tried to go for codes, it took me to a stupid XPLODER.net sign-in. Won't accept my sign-on and password for some reaon, and I cannot get past it -- and yes I did go to Xploder and start an account, which it accepted on its own website. Did a search on Google, but to no avail. Mine is a Gameshark 3.1 disk, and the available codes are for 4.0 and later. So..............

does anyone out there have the codes for Gameshark 3.1 for PS2? Just want the codes for Fol -- that's all.

Guess you're lucky; I happened to save these as soon as they came out. Looks like Gameshark is having difficulties at the moment, as their page has gone down a few times now in the past month. Not as bad as Action Replay has it, though -- they haven't updated much at all, their website's been flaky as long as I can remember, their forum's dead half the time, and the codes they do have all show a lack of effort. I'd use Codebreaker (who have the best codes and support), but my PS2 doesn't really work well with versions past 6 (doesn't boot up half the time). I really wish for the old days when codes weren't encrypted and you could use one maker's codes on another's device.

I've confirmed all of these to work on the same device you have (GS2v3.1), so if they don't, you probably have a typo somewhere. For the Max Fol code, you'll have to visit the menu in order to invoke the code.

Thanks for setting my wife up for success. She wanted me to plug in all the cheat codes, but I gave her the unlimited Fol and told her she'd have to earn the rest of the game.

Heh. After plugging these in and verifying that they worked, the only ones I ended up using on a regular basis were for max Fol and rapid Battle Gauge charging (which normally takes several battles to build up each time you reload). Seemed like kind of a waste of time in the end, as I never use the others (though I'm considering max Fury, which would ease getting the "500 successful consecutive guards" Battle Collection trophy).
