Well just now I've tried to get on MSN (using MSN Messenger) with no luck. It might be some problem over at Microshaft.

Still down for me... has been like this for at least 24 hours now. I think Bill Gates must have logged on and started his webcam application, while Steve Jobs watched him make love to Melinda.

Obviously as Gates came, the network couldn't handle it and crashed.

I had problems logging on MSN via Messenger 6.2 today. However the problem is gone now. I am signed on as we speak.

I stopped using Trillian altogether over a year ago when I decided it was just a piece of crap.

How is that in any way helpful?

Anyway, it looks like the MSNM servers are running for me, but slowly. The service goes down constantly...

MSN IM service be it Trillian, gaim, miranda, and even normal MSN have been acting mental since like last wedensday. Microsoft must not of heard of redundant IM service servers.

MSN is down from any client. Sporadically I can reconnect to it from Trillian, but it dies again after a few minutes. I also randomly got contact list notifications from people who have already had me on their list for a while.

MSNM totally down for me, it attempts to connect for 1 minute, then disconnects.

Also went down sporadically for me this afternoon. Reconnected within a short time though.

Folks, they're either having DNS issues or they've changed authentication protocols again. Yahoo and AOL do this every now and then to force you to use their clients instead of third-party ones.

Whatever is going on, I'm back on MSN with Trillian.
