OK which RPG was better? Star Wars D6 1st Ed or Star Wars D6 2nd Ed?

I've never really seen much of 1st Edition, so I'd have to say that 2nd Edition, because it seems to have been more sophisticated.

Same here, as far as I know, 2nd Ed simply filled in some gaps and broadend the rules. Who even payed attention to WEG's ruleset back with 1st Ed?

What a rediculous non-issue. I thought this thread was going to be about D6 vs D20...

2nd fixed a few places where 1st performed poorly.
