Anyone think that a horror STGOD would be fun. Like say a Dawn of the Dead situation and play it out. Anyone up for it??

Sounds like a pretty decent idea, actually. Though, thinking of my appalling record in the two STGODs i've participated in, maybe i'll give this one a miss.

seriously though i have seen way too many zombie movies and played far too many zombie killing games. I believe i may have the solution for just about every zombie from the classic voodo zombie (salt in the mouth sew the lips shut) to the most recent dawn of the dead zombie (headshots or massive dammage to the upper spinal chord) i would love to play myself in this game.

Hey that is a good question are these the fast moving squishy, biologically caused zombies, or the the religious zombies that eventually dry out, or the classic slow moving but damn near impervious zombies. or are they the semi alive zombies similar to say "last man on earth/omega man zombies" or perhaps day of the dead zombies (they can be trained).

they would be the fast moving psycho zombies thats for sure. We would have to agree on a town or city to start out in. I don't mind writting the story for it if other want to play. Say like i would be the Game master or something

Mesa Arizona, why? Because I can give you maps, including maps of several defensable locations

you could always come up with your own city. just set up general areas (commercial, industrial, residential) and come up with a few buildings worthy enough to note.

Actually, it started off as more of a first-person RP game, albeit one with a very twisted and degenerate sense of humor. Things scaled exponentially from there, and it wound up with multi-galaxy fleets, got reset a few times, and migrated over here.

I dunno, though, I just miss the nutty attitude that the ASVS STGODs had...

I'd like to give it a go, but I've never done one of these before; Is it anything like an internet-based RPG?

Since the game will probably just be a short lived series of posts about how uber everyone is at killing zombies, followed by one or more players declaring magical powers and going off to easily fight and defeat some magical uber being they invented, count me out.

then why'd you even bother to post. Either way i realize that there are some people prone to power game so i ask for those of us who are going to play think about these things.

A. Everyone can't be a bad ass. I realize that these things are fanatsy and everyone in there dreams is Billy Badass from Boston. But not here. There will be no "Ash" characters or character shields

B. This will be set in current times so no making up shit that doesn't exist for our time. Only the Game mod can do that

C. Remember this is suppose to be fun. Don't ruin shit for other people by doing the above.

It seems that we have about 8 or so players for this and that seems like a fair amount so what i am going to do is start the official thread in a day or so explaining the situation and you guys take over from there. I will write the story but you guys will direct it.
