It's a way to play online with xbox without paing for Xbox Live

The easiest way is to d/ll the client run it on you comoputer and then fire up the xbox.

If you have modded your xbox then xbmc and avalaunch has support for kai.

Don't those programs just let you run system link matches over the 'net?

It's nice an all, but it means you can't just jump in and play anyone, anywhere, anytime, which is the whole point of Live.
