Umm I believe that you need steam to activate the game. Some people had bought HL2 from stores a couple days ago but couldn't get it work because the activation servers weren't up.

Well i've got my copy, now the hard choice:

- Rush home as soon as my practical finishes at 5 and play

OR

- Accept my friends offer to take my newly (almost) painted Tau army down to Games WOrkshop for the first time and play 4th ed 40K for the first time!
