That is the game engine for the Stargate game, that is not source.

Weak, those CRTs in the control room should be replaced by LCDs </nitpickery>

Still nifty-looking.

This could be set several seasons ago.

I said the exact same thing. Viva HP!

Oh and its at LEAST beyond season 2, given that the hand scanners came in the second last episode of 2.

Of course they didn't REALLY come into constent use until season 6, it was only then that they exclusivly controled the Iris with them.

Man, you know that last Chevron is really designed to open a gate to let Cthulhu through.

Website

It currently doesn't have anything beyond the first three screenies Alyeska posted, but I'd keep an eye on it for updates (especially since there will be a full site "soon")...

Any information on the engine?

The outdoor scenes look good, untill I look at the tree's, which look horrible, but otherwise its great.

Indoors looks great, but lacks HDR.

Interesting. The second screenshot appears to be something built by the Ancients in the Atlantis Era of their architecture.

And the last one is most definately the reactor core of a Goa'uld vessel.

Reasonable graphics.

But the gameplay and story need to be up to scratch. I'm sick of Engine tech demos dressed up as actual games (Doom3 & farcry I'm looking at you!)

This looks great. I am, however, even more irritated than usual that they would choose a common (relative) character like Å without realising what it actually means. Not only does it make me think "Stargoate", which it phonetically says (oh, and the "Ohlliance"), it respectively seems to mean "Star Riddle" and a slang word for rubbing your genitals over something.

What can I say? Swedish is da bomb. :)

So what season is it set in? And

GAAAHHH

Damn spoilers! It is CRITICAL to the plot that these CRTs are replaced with LCDs, and I find it out before Season 6 even comes out in Australia?!?!? (in box set, I mean).

Unless of course LCDs were in season 5 and I didn't even notice, because I was too busy watching O'Neill make wise cracks.

Killing Jaffa is going to be fun.
