Anyone have any advice for recording cassette tapes to CDs?
Currently, the only way I can do it is by using the earphone jack on my tape deck as an "output". Is there a better way? Or a tape deck suited for this?

Umm, are you going from tape out to the soundcard?
If you are using a full tape deck, there are cable adapters that will go from RCA jack and convert into the line in jack that will fit the soundcard. Might be better to use and have less noise.
