that's an awfully quick turn around on that sequel (Of course, I'm thinking in terms of Halo 2) I really hope it's not Battlefied: Azureloaded.

It's actually been in development since before the first one came out.

And since there was no new engine to write, it could be turned around a lot quicker, as it just needed the content, features, and bug checking for the new stuff.

this is the only game that will make me take HALO 2 out of my xbox, I eagerly await the release.

oh and I also want Ghost Recon 2 but that will wait till next year.

I'm so fanatical I'd probably end up buying the PC version too. I'm an ocassional fan of redundancy. In any case, does anyone know the projected differences between the Xbox and PC versions? Yes Vympel, I know the Xbob version will suck in comparison. I mean, will there be something like Yavin was to KOTOR 1? Another place to go if you had the PC version?

The X-Box version main villain will be an ancestor of Jar Jar Binks. That's the main difference between the X-Box and PC version.

In that case I'm definately getting the X-Box version. A chance to cut Jar-Jar Binks off at the source? No way I'm missing that.

I despised the control scheme for KOTOR on the PC.

Even with the lower graphical detail, the XBox one was much more satisfying to play, because the pad was a more natural way of interacting with a character than half point and click, half stuttery keyboard control.

Yeah, that's a bit of a hurdle.

IGN has done an extensive preview based on their first 6 hours of play of the X-Box version. Check it out for cool screenshots and some cool snaps of dialog. And it looks like HK is in your party!
