World of Warcraft: Who's all in?

I know CrimsonRaine is because she make cute demanding noises at me to get me to play it, but who else has bought the game World of Warcraft or is going to?

For those who haven't yet, it's awesome: I recommend it.

To those who have or are: If you want to do stuff, I'm mostly going to be rocking the Central server "Alleria" with my Clan. My character is named Crwnch if you see me.

It appears to be 14.99/month, but it goes down depending on how long your subscription is.

It's having a rocky start, with server and queue issues, but I think I'll give it a month try. Hopefully blizzard gets a handle on those issues, otherwise seems like a decent game, casual enough you don't need 16 hours a day to compete.

The only reason that I don't have it yet is cause when I went to the store they were sold out before hitting the shelves.

Was in the beta, which was fun. But I won't pick it up until at least a week from now, when the server stability will probably be sorted out.

15 dollars a month? holy crap. I was going to get this game but that is to rich for my blood. Maybe if the price drops to a 10 a month but 15 is way too much even when you purchase in bulk IMO. Game looks good though.

If you pay for 6 months it's only 11 or 12 dollars a month. It's not going to drop btw, $15 seems to be the standard price of a mmorpg right now and if anything, it'll only go up.

Oh, when I get it, I'll be in a east coast server, mannaroth will be on of them, then I'll be in another one as well so that I can play on both alliance and horde side.

Yes, but I don't know what's the limit as I don't have it right now but in the beta I think it was 8 per server. Does anyone that has the game know how much is the limit?

Clron on Stormrage (east coast, the best... of course!)

15 bucks a month isn't so bad when you factor in the savings your reduced social life generates. Back when I obsessively played Ultima Online, I was saving a couple hundred a month.

Eating out isn't cheap, I'll admit that!

I think SD.net should coordinate and pick a single server- for east coast at least, anyway.

I think it's 10 per server. My friend was creating a bunch of characters just to reserve the names.

I'll be playing as soon as I get a copy. My brother has it, but I was too slow to get the collector's edition, so I'm trying E-Bay. I want that zergling, damnit!

If you do use e-bay they could end up screwing you by keep using the cd-key.

I made sure to get one that's unopened. Of course it cost me $130 + $8 shipping. Totally reamed. I wish I'd pre-ordered it.

I'm in..

currently has 3 character on 3 servers since I have to play wiht different groups of people.

I look at it and think $15 a month for 30+ hours of entertainment is pretty good. It's only 50cents a day. When you really think abut it, what can you do with that 50cents?
