Gaming Headphones

I've always wanted to game with surround sound, but living in a college dorm I really can't, so I must turn to headphones. Zalman & MM Gear seem to make the same 6 channel headphones of high quality; though the price is a little much, mainly because I need to purchase a USB surround sound card along with it. I was looking around for a good deal and found this. Now it's a good deal, as far as I can tell. My only problem is, I really don't trust this seller. The order form also doesn't seem to be secure, which further worries me. Any ideas? Or well priced suggestions from a secure vendor?

Koss SB-40s. Good headphones, great sound quality with a decent quality swingdown mic for voice comms in games that support that kinda thing.

The idea is to have surround sound, the Koss SB-40 does not appear to have such a feature.

You could have your sound card try to do surround processing rather than have the electronics in the headphones.

Its not the headphones, the Headphones in questions have six speakers(Six positional plus the band base on both side)

Meh, I'd rather spend the money on two good drivers rather than 6 average ones. I'll just use the computer to do surround processing.

Agian your missing the point, their surround sound headphones not because they do any work but because they have more than two pairs of speakers(Read six)

Sure they are no where near as good your avarage speaker setup but if you want surround sound someplace you can't make alot of noises/and or folks will kill you if turn it up(Read Military folks) these are gre

Can't you get 360degrees of sound out of regular headphones? I dimly recall software to that effect in the '90s. If not, excuse my ignorance; my flash headphones got killed my an overexcited onboard soundcard :(

You can get 3d sound
Left right and everything else, its not true 3d which requires at least four speakers to simunlate the quaters of a compass
