Yes, played about 6 hours of it.

A few pointers because I am the good nice guy I am.

1. SKILLS MATTER. More then KoTOR 1 by any stretch of the fucking imagination.

2. Play the Prologue...it may seem boring but will acclimanate you to the new setting.

3. The boxes are actually random...sometimes you find cool shit...other times you find a medpac.

4. Seriously Skills matter....it's rather disgusting how much they pound this into you.

5. They now tell you when something is empty in case when you backtrack you forget.

So far the game intro is longer and deeper and has more mystery. Your buddies so far aren't bad, and are a bit more interesting(may change...I dunno...I've only gotten three). Puzzles aren't that bad and honestly I do like they have more then one way to get by them(once again they implement skills better).

Honestly it's shaping up very nicely and the mood is good. I like so far how they guide you into it. Though it's obvious the twist will not be the same as KoTOR 1. But it should be interesting to find out what the fuck really happened.

Its cool its cool, its so freaking cool!

Xbox, out now. I'm going with a Jedi Sentinel Skillwhore just to be completely different from everything I've ever done before, and it seems like it may work out pretty well, although single player can be a bit painful.

The fact that your treatment of party members can affect their attitude towards you is a very cool improvement.

Yeah...talking to them is odd, and you actually have to pick sides.

This adds to seemingly the replay because you should not be able to reach their entire conversation tree in one go.

Or also because some convos with some may be purely dark side or light side.

Even if I wait, I still get it a month and a half before the stupid PC users

Ghost Rider, can you give a non-spoilerish example of how much skills matter in the game? Can you give an example of how the game works in that regard? What are the skills one should go for, now?

Literally you can build your own items.

The thing is that every skill but persuade is used...and some to high levels.

IE want to make a Deadly Frag Mine?

You may need a Demolition Skill of 16.

And so on. Plus there are usually 1-2 ways of getting around most puzzles. If you're not a comp geek they usually have a Repair option. And if neither...well smashy-smashy does the job.

It's in a dialogue option very early on. A guy is asking questions and you can dictate answers...it's pretty funny how odd the story can go, but it's a reflection of the first game.

But there is story hinting that Bioware did come up with a true ending as is.

It's such a waste of time being a Jedi and having skills like computer/repair etc. Did they fix the original's idiocy in requiring you personally to have repair skills adequate enough to repair HK-47? Really, that was so dumb I just cheated. I refuse to be denied the ability to improve his abilities and hear his "lost" memories because of a fucking technicality.

HK-47 is in it, right? I mean, he's not a new HK droid or anything?

Oh and one last hint...just because I'm feeling peckish.

Seriously don't try to please everyone. When you get into team talks...they will make you choose or go the pansy route. So pick a path and stick to it.

HK-47 is indeed in it...and your personal repair and compskills are only needed if you want to advance the droids to high levels. Which you can do to both. So if you NEVER touch the droids....let them sputter about.

They throw a very early red herring trying to sway you that HK-47 isn't there but when you get teh Ebon Hawk...you'll see what happened.

Plus to make stuff...since there are literally tables scattered every where(and there are three types of tables to make items)...essentially you never have to become uber Jedi....the so far cool part and I don't know if the rumor is true...but if there is no level cap, who cares how one specializes.

I read for a fact in a review that there is no level cap. But there's only so many people and areas to gain experience in, so there must be some sort of artificial limit.

The odd ball limit is supposed to around 40 or so.

And oh yeah....there are more lightsaber colors and the people so far are definitly more colorful in attitude and the response are better, plus some like getting smart mouthed.

And there are three cameos from the first game...two are obvious...one you get in a Holo.

I do wonder what has happened to the old gang.

So, skills are important: but which ones do you go for? Or does it not really matter? What are the choices, again? And the classes, what are the three initial classes you can choose from? What are their skill bonuses like? And are we sure there is no level cap? I hope there is, actually.
