Ok, I know that I would be better off posting this in a CoD forum (and I have), but since I post all the rest of my litany of computer problems here, I figure, why not this one?
Anyway, whenever I try to open up Call of Duty Multiplayer, it says "loading CoD", goes to a black screen, and then crashes to desktop. If I choose to run the game in "safe mode", then it CTD's normally; if I don't, it CTDs to a resolution-screwed up desktop and I need to reboot the computer.
I have the latest patch, and I uinstalled and reinstalled the game twice, once with the built-in uninstaller and once with Add/Remove Programs. I don't think it completely removes CoD, though, because after reinstalling it both times I was able to restart my single-player game from the point where I had left off.
