The pic that started it all is no longer visible, but for the record it was an image of Ceciliantas cybering some "chick" in EverQuest 2. A chick other than his in-game "girlfriend." Cecil proceeds to melt down and threatens to sue the entire internet. His "girlfriend" shows up to disown him. People from other MMOG forums, other game forums, and forums that have nothing to do with gaming show up to mock him from around the world. Everyone from Star Wars Galaxies to Ebaums World. Cecil goes insane, demands the thread be deleted, threatens to have the forums shut down by law enforcement, and rambles about the original poster having to "face his Justice!"

By the end of page two, it's the funniest fucking thread in the history of the universe.

Isn't it great? The guy makes every retard who ever threatened to sue Mike look like a genius in comparison. The funny thing is, if he'd never replied to the thread, or if he made some generic "ha ha, you got me" response, you and I would never have heard of it. He might have taken some heat from a small circle of fellow EverQuest catasses, but nothing on the epic scale of this.

Apparently the "woman" Cecil was cybering was a MAN, and the entire thing was cooked up as a setup by a guild Cecil's psycho ass had been harrassing. The guy unveiled his identity, that of his guild, and finally posted the original unedited screenshots of the cyber, as well as of the setup. The whole thing was an evil scheme of Palpatine evilness, that worked far better than hoped.

Amen. I made an account just to show that the thread has made it to sites not related to EQII. I, of course, did not mention SDN, just that we have nothing to do (Directly) with EQ. I am part of history.

I'll never post there again, but this setup by enigma and allanah is genius. Major props to them for improving my outlook at buffing my week!

I think, that in a day and age where the internet is so diverse and decentralized it's so nice to see the entire userbase for every forum, chatgroup, and website pull together to rip one man, a singular individual, a new asshole.
