I'm thinking about switching from my 19" CRT to a 20/20.1" LCD monitor, and I want some recommendations for a good monitor. I am a gamer, so it has to play without ghosting or any unwanted artifacts (my video card is a BFG 6800 GT).

We just got in a pair of Dell Ultrasharp 20.1" LCDs at work, and these things are amazing. They've done well on 3DMark05 and GTA:VC; I plan to try DOOM3 and Far Cry on them as well. Right now, this monitor is at the top of my list, unless they fail the D3/FC test I have planned, or if anybody can think of a better monitor or a reason not the get a Dell monitor (aside from DELL SUXOR!!!).

So, what do you folks like?

I have the Dell 2001FP (higher res but normal screen ratio) and I love it.
It was a hard choice between the 2005 and 2001 but I went with the 2001 in the end.

Acording to most reviews, THE best big LCD screen.

If your going for that size, its practicly the only option, but there are other monitors.
