I've really been enjoying the game, and while random mixups with people in the lobby is fun, I'd really like to start playing against slightly less anonymous people.

Seriously, the last SDN DoW games were a blast, I'm game. I've gotten rusty again, but hey, I'll live. Or die, but hey.

I've gotten better since the last time I've played. If we could get more than just two people, it might be worth it.

Sure I play Dawn of Rush! I'm not so good, but it only takes a few games to get me out of bad habits like 'defence' and 'holding back'. Does DoR have issues with lag? I'm a bloody Australian, mate.

Well, I don't know about you lot, but I find rushing tactics to be cheap as hell. And a properly-contructed defense is nothing to sneer at...

DoW actually uses very little bandwidth so even a 56K person can play well with others..... IF, and a big IF, his or her computer is fast. Since DoW is a p2p game, if one person's computer is slow, everyone else lags to keep up with it.


That's where the lag in online games comes from. Or if someone's computer goes haywire.

I can attest to that. The last SDN game, I was still on dialup. NO LONGER, however!

It is 7:00 pm Pacific here, and I'm feeling bored. Does anyone think they're up for a game? (and let's see if we can get more people than White Haven and me, or Rogue 9 and me this time )

Sadly, I'm in the middle of a TP on a MUSH right now. If you'll still be available in a few hours, I'm game.

And my computer is gone. On top of that, the Dawn of War CD was in the drive. I hope nobody turns it on and checks to see if there's a CD in there...

I just got the game and have been playing it here and there, it's quite fun, but I'm still working on mastering my Eldar build. Plus my time is somewhat limited, in a week or two I'll have loads more time and will certainly be up for some games!

I'm game anytime for the next three hours.

Well Uraniun and I just got smashed by Abaddon's 14th Black Crusade. I'm ready for another game anytime.

I seem to have the worst luck with, of all things, paint schemes.

Partiucarly, my Autobot Space Marines, Decepticon Chaos, and Jamacian Orks. I always lose if I play as them.

Especially the Orks. These last three days or so, I always seem to end up on bad teams(either idiots or droppers) with them. Every time, I end up being the last to go, surrounded in my fallback base, fighting to the last.

Interesting. Is a game still open?

We just finished one. We'll probably be doing another.

I've only played single player so far and I think I would get my sorry ass handed to myself. I might be interested eventually though.

To date, we've mainly played vs comps...and given the quality of the DoW AI, that's /quite/ enough of a challenge. Jedi, Uraniun and I had a greay 3v3 game against some Orks last night.

I'll have I go, I need to crush some Heretics!
