Uninstalling .NET infrastructure?

How can it be done? If it indeed can be. As I want to replace my ATI catalyst drivers with Omega ones, since I've had a drop of about 50% in general system performance since I went to the .NET required drivers.

I don't think you can take off the .NET stuff, but for the ATi drivers, just uninstall them, but why? the new ones rock.

You cant ininstall the .NET framework (as far as I can remember), and the drivers do not use it anyway.
Its the application which you use to configure the drives which is using .NET

Did I mention a 50% performance drop?
And the fact that the ATI control panel doesn't actually fucking work.

Then fucking update your drivers?!
Yes, the first CCC driver sucked, simply sucked.
The new one is awesome, runs fast.

Just uninstall the control center. You only need the drivers. THe control center is quite and decidedly useless...

Ahem, adding AA and AF can only be done in the control panel.

Ace...stop being a fool. The control PANEL is not the Control Center. The stock non-Control-Center drivers still have the old-school control panel, which works just as well if not better. I know that I use it, fuck that flashy, laggy, crashy shit.

My X800XT PE works marvelously, with AA and AF and all, and I uninstalled the contraption that is the control center shite. For one, it has the nasty tendency to fuck around with the monitor resolution when freshly installed. It hogs memory and offers no real usefulness to my system.
With it gone, you can easily access every setting via normal tabs in the advanced display settings.
It is *completely* seperate from the drivers.

Gah .NET development tools suck. I hated Visual Studio.NET so much I went back to Visual Studio 6 again. Hopefully Visual Studio 2005 will be better.

VS 6 is a hopeless piece of crap(at least the C++ compiler is), and VS.NET
2003 is lightyears better.
And VS.NET 2005 is
sweet going by the public VS Express betas.
