A Game dosn't work 'coz my crappy comp can't haddel Direct X 8, the game worked on direct x 7a despite saying it needed 8 thus i wondered if it could be uninstalled/downgraded or something.Dahak wrote:The question is: why do you want to do that?

alternatively get Win2k if your machine can't handle XP. it might not have as many features, but it's far more stable and reliable than ME or 98.StormtrooperOfDeath wrote:Dude, get XP. Welcome to the 21st century.
Do MS even support 98 anymore?Faram wrote:If it works don't mess with it.

If not then thats a very good reason to upgrade.
I recommend that. There is a 233 MHZ 64 MB RAM Pentiun 1 machine in my home and it runs both Win2K Professional and Advanced server with decent speed and rock solid stability.Darth_Zod wrote:alternatively get Win2k if your machine can't handle XP. it might not have as many features, but it's far more stable and reliable than ME or 98.StormtrooperOfDeath wrote:Dude, get XP.
