This shows that the conversion won't be a hackjob. Though some stuff is missing, like new models, better level geometry and skyboxes are in. Not every shot is flattering, but I'm not dissapointed.

I fail to see what's so great about it. Besides, it runs off HL2 Source; I'll stick with CALL OF DUTY anyday.

Anything that uses Havok wins.

Is it still only going to be available to those who ordered the Silver or Gold package? DoD was fun, but I didn't think a prettier version of it was worth the extra money at the time I ordered (and still don't).

I'm sorry, but I can't think of anything that is more fun than smacking a smug nazi in in the face with your garand. The prospect of seeing him go flying is an enticing one, well worth my money. I also *hope* that MGs work a little smoother, and a graphics upgrade will be a nice change.

Yes, I'd like to see vehicles. Yes, I'd like them to add more sides and what-not. But right now I just want a good solid mod to play on the source engine, and DoD was always my mod, not Counter-Strike.

Now we just need NS, TS, SvenCo-op, and the new mod Eternal-Silence and the game will have all the mods I'll ever want (until better ones come along )

You can already do that in Call of Duty, the shovel is where it's at.

And yes, I'd like a solid Source mod to play. Deathmatch is ok, but it's just deathmatch. And CounterShit is self-explanatory.
