Professional Graphic cards help

I have to write something for university regarding graphic cards and their usage (CAD, scientific visualisation...). And that also includes some professional graphic cards. Now I'm digging through page upon page of googled pages, but I just wanted to ask if someone knows a good side for information about the topic, especially since most sites seem to concentrate on the "gaming" cards...
