On a random tangent in my head I was thinking how kids shows (and some others) monopolize on putting their characters everywhere. T-shirts, dolls etc. If linux becomes a more popular desktop in homes, could you see star wars, or dragon ball z having thier own linux? Star Wars Linux, with special wallpapers, bells and whistles around starwars. Perhaps they'd even put thier own games in it (minor games most likely). Would this be soemthing marketable or not worth the time?

It could be markettable, but it could cause some severe confusion.

Why not, as long as they're all compatible with each other. Variety is the spice of life, dont'cha know?

Doing a whole distro around a theme isn't worth downloading or spending the time to install. So the most I could see done is selling a package with replacement wallpapers, mouse cursors, etc all of which is already possible under the popular Windows, and we don't see it there.
That's probably what they'd be doing, essentially. The difference being that while Windows themes have to be distributed only as themes, a publisher could easily stick one of the many free Linux distros on the CD, pre-configured to run their theme, 'cause it's free.
