Burning a DVD (not a movie)

Post by Praxis »

I've got an ISO disk image of a DVD I'm trying to burn (this is an install CD I'm trying to back up, NOT a movie).

The free software I have won't let me burn the disk image to a DVD.

Anyone know any free software I can use for this?

didn't your dvd burner come with a copy of nero? i wouldn't recommend using free stuff to burn any discs, as there aren't much in the way of options out there for suites.

No, it came with RecordNow, which can't do anything with disk images.

I suspect I could do it with my Mac, but its a laptop with a 2x drive- last time I made a DVD with iDVD, it took five hours to burn and the laptop was about to melt. Though half that time was probably rendering the transitions. I'm just wary about doing that again.
