Price range should be about $100-200; generally not more than $250. $300 is the absolute max.
I'm looking for a reliable brand, battery life (the last straw prompting me to buy one), FM radio, and decent, easy to use interface. Support for a variety of file formats would be nice. And looking cool, while always a bonus, will have to take a back seat this time if it can save me money.
A particular model I have my eye on is Creative Zen Micro.
The price is right, disk space is sufficient, it's got FM reception, the interface is more than 2 buttons, it's got some nifty extra features, and looks fairly cool to boot. (Doesn't mention battery life though.)
That's the kind of thing I'm looking for.
So what are some alternatives to this? And how well do they stack up?
Another one I'm looking at:
iRiver H320
About Ipod:
They are nice, but the higher up ones are too expensive, and the lower ones don't have some of the features I'm looking for.
Ipod 6GB Mini for example lacks FM reception (mandatory for listenting to March Madness at work) and recording (not mandatory, but would be nice).
