Spotted this on Slashdot, thought it was hilarious
Slashdot wrote:"Large enterprises should not use Linux because it is not secure enough, has scalability problems and could fork into many different flavours, according to the Agility Alliance, which includes IT heavyweights EDS, Oracle, Cisco, Microsoft, Sun, Dell and EMC."
Actual article here:

Gee, I wonder if any of those companies might have anything against Linux?

Microsoft, obviously...Sun makes their own OS, so them too...Oracle is a big software company, so them too...Cisco, Dell, and EMC, I dunno.

I love how the companies which have openly gone against linux (microsoft, sun) all of a sudden come out with this survey which states that linux is not secure. HELLO!!! Whats sad is someone at work showed me this article going "Aha, windows is more secure!" I was too shocked to tell him anything except that of course companies are going to say THEIR product is better than someone elses.

What I find odd is how the only studies showing linux's supposedly insecurity being funded or directly run by microsoft. Doesn't anyone see that they are putting the conclusion before the study? I'm sure with a little bit of work I can find a hundred of places inwhich Windows is better than linux. Too bad I can find a million places where Linux is better than windows. I'm waiting for a total unbiased study to be done. Too bad there is no such thing as unbiased.

Think of the irony of Sun saying that Linux is bad because it could fork into many different flavours, when in fact Sun's own SOLARIS operating system is a fork of UNIX.

Notice the lack of IBM's name on that list, because IBM has been deploying Linux in large enterprises without a problem.

Wasn't EDS responsible for crashing tens of thousands of UK government computers....

It's nice to see IBM make some good decisions after their string of bad ones.

Dell seems to have their lips wrapped pretty firmly around Microsoft's cock, so that might explain their statement.

Funny that about dell. I had just read about how they were starting to sell linux servers. I wonder if that was just a plan or was actually happening.
