On Classic Games and .zip files

Note to mods: This is partially a rant, so HOS it if you feel it warrants it.
So a week or two ago I re-installed Starcraft for a little more fun. I played through the original and Brood War, but still felt the need for Starcraft. I'm never gratified by skirmishes, so I looked around for mods to spice up play, and found Sickel. It looked promising, and I quickly downloaded it.
The problem? It doesn't work. I read over the manual multiple times. It advises you to install sickel_ddmm.zip into a blank directory, unzip it to the Starcraft directory, and use a BAT file to reconstruct it. However, there is neither anything called "sickel_ddmm.zip" in the download, nor any BAT file. I'm quite frankly astounded at this turn of events, and off-put. Many of the changes this mod gives looked very, very snazzy and tasty. So naturally, it had to be too good to be true. Grrr!
