It too, can be yours for the low low price of $2000.

Bah, you can get nearly as good for half that. What are you going to use that expensive, marginal improvement on processing power for?

I stab at thee from the pits of hell.

Beo, very nice, very near my future specs, what RAM brand?

Alan, how the hell is a 3500 a marginal improvement from a 3200? Are you half blind?

And that Graphics card is not 'minor improvement'.

Mushkin. It's 2.5CL

I personally don't think the high price premium is worth the performance difference... unless, of course, you can provide benchmarks showing a significant increase from the 3200+ to the 3500+.

There's only one AIW x800. No options available. I'm using a Shuttle FN95. Of course, that's a kinda stupid question considering it's a SFF system, the case of which comes with the motherboard.

For me, that kind of differance is worth shelling out an extra 50$ which was the differance at the time I put in my order.

Well, if ~4-6 frames per second over the 3200+ is worth $50 to you, it's worth $50 to you... not so sure I'd call it a significant advantage, though. :? But then it probably is significant if the CAS latency's that notable to you.

Personally, if I were so hellbent on squeezing that much performance out of my system, I'd probably just OC the 3200+ up to 3500+ speeds.

Different strokes, I guess.

Not to mention I wanted the new Winchester core(it gets HOT here, I wanted as cold as I could get) and there was no 3200+ Winchester in stock.
