I've been trying to do this mission for over a week now. I've gone to online game guides to little avail. I'm fucked.

Does anyone know any ways to do this mission without running out of fuel as you hit the last car?

I've never figured it out myself. But I'm told GTA Forums has a good guide, though I've yet to try it myself.

If you can use the map, land and stop in the van's path. Supposedly you can sit there as long as you like and your fuel will not run down.
